About “Three!!”

 
The Print “Three!!” is a 17 color print. The prints were made on Arches 88 paper. Images are 8¼” x 16½” on 15” x 22½” sheets. Speedball Acrylic Screen Printing Inks were used. Adobe Photoshop was used for developing the screenprinting plates, of which there were 29. Five prints are included in the edition. The project was completed in November 2012. Progression Series The print progression showing the development of the three images can be seen in the figures below. The development of each image is shown at four different stages of the seven or eight screens actually required for each. The first row shows the background for each image. The second row shows the foundation for each face, basically the second layer. The third row displays the images at some intermediate step, somewhere from 3rd to the 5th or 6th layer. The last row shows the final images.
